Solid surface material can be seamless joint with same material top, basins. Quartz stone can be 45 degree seamless joint.

Non-porous
Resists stains and won't expand and contract with humidity. Unlike granite or marble, quartz stone never needs sealing.

Cleans easily with soap and water. Most household cleaners are also safe for quartz countertop.

Stain and Chemical Resistant
Solid surface is unaffected by most household acids and alkalis.
Solid Surface is non porous so stains don't sink in. Any discoloration is merely on the surface and just needs to be cleaned.
